New York Times Discoruages Buying a PS3

The New York Times issued a deafening blow to Sony yesterday when, in an article about which game system to buy, it stated that "if you are anything other than a complete Sony fanboy (that’s Internet lingo for an obsessed, myopic groupie) go ahead and forget about the PlayStation 3". They went on to say that "the 360 and the Wii provide excellent entertainment for the dollar and are each capable of filling your home with smiles for years to come." While the New York times may not be known for its gaming journalism, its opinions reach more Americans than any other newspaper.
